Through the fire

James 1 says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”
Walking on a trail path, that had a huge fire not long ago, I came across this still beautiful looking flower.
Most of us have faith that Dad is able to rescue us from trials and often we ask Him to remove them from our lives. We do not enjoy trials or hard times!! Sometimes He allow us to enter into a trial.
Why? I have learned that sometimes God chooses not to rescue me by removing the flames, but protecting me and staying with me in the fire. Its in trials that God can show Himself as incredible, good and as God. The final outcome we do know ... Christ likeness. It’s good to know that no matter what, He is faithful and will stay with us on our walk so that others can see Him in us!
